My fear of dentists

Today has confirmed my fear of them. I had been dreading today cos i had to go back to the dentist to fill in two teeth. He put an injection in to stop it hurting *didnt see the point of it* and when it wore off about 3 hours later my face swelled up and now i can only see out of one eye! The pain made me cry. And they will have to drag me screaming there next time

I did finally find a wonderful dentist who actually played the Affirmation cd for me last time I was there...it did help, but I only have to smell the place and start having a panic attack and at my age that is very humiliating [img]frown.gif[/img]

Oh good i aint alone! my one keeps saying 'stop fussing' and im like 'but your drilling a nerve!!' i hate the smell and when they have to use the sqirty air in your mouth it makes me reach and he keeps telling me to stay still. I have to go back in April and i am soo not looking forward to it
